About The Write One

Liam is an unsuccessful writer in a failing marriage with Joyce, a former starlet who became pregnant with his childbefore she could become a household name. Liam’s priority is to produce his dream TV series. Joyce, on the other hand, gave up her up-and-coming showbiz career to be a wife to Liam. For the latter, Joyce and their son Dex are just an afterthought. With the love between Liam and Joyce dimmed by the years that have passed, both wonder what could have been had they not given up their individual dreams. Until one night, Liam stumbles upon an antique typewriter and finds himself writing – and magically making real – the revised story of his life.In the new timeline, Liam is the goal-oriented and career-driven creative director of one of the leading film outfits in the country. Joyce is a glamorous, empowered, and most-sought actress of her generation. Liam is engaged to another woman, Via . Behind Via’s ‘perfect’ image is the selfish, manipulative, and obsessive woman who will do everything to keep Liam by her side. Joyce, on the other hand, is being courted by Hans , a lawyer who can offer Joyce the security Liam cannot give her in the old timeline. As the two couples cross paths with one another, Liam soon finds himself wondering: Does destiny put people in the right place to make the right choice? Or does an individual have full control of what he thinks and does, for him to meet the one written in the stars for him to love?(Source: Viu)
